Install a BaseballLibrary.com browser button and you can turn every baseball reference ANYWHERE on the Web into a link to our unparalleled archive of baseball history information.
Note: The button should work on most recent browsers -- i.e., everything since Netscape 4 or Internet Explorer 4 -- except for Netscape 6 and the internal AOL browser. There's a slim chance it won't work if you're using a Mac and it probably won't work if you're using a older browser.
HOW TO INSTALL
1: You should have the "Links" toolbar (MSIE) or "Personal" toolbar (Netscape) showing in your browser. If not, click on "Links" under the View > Toolbars menu (MSIE) or the View
menu (Netscape) to make it visible.
2: Left-click on the following link, and drag it to your Links/Personal toolbar while holding down the left mouse button.
BaseballLibrary.com
3: When you've released the link, it should appear in the toolbar. (If you see a confirmation prompt, click "yes".)
If the button doesn't appear immediately, you may have to restart your browser.
HOW TO USE
Now, whenever you see a baseball-related name, date, year, or team -- anywhere on the web -- just highlight it and click on the BaseballLibrary.com button in your toolbar. You'll instantly be taken to the appropriate page at the Baseball Library so you can learn more about the player or event.
Highlight any of the following terms and click on your new BaseballLibrary.com button to make sure it works properly:
» Babe Ruth
» October 1956
» 1941 Tigers
» 1975
Another caveat: The button may not work properly on sites with frames. If that's the case, simply open the appropriate frame in a new window and link from there.
ENJOY!
