"I remember that he was really fast", one of my patients told me, recalling Aaron Pointer. My patient remembered playing semi-pro ball with Pointer in Houston in the late 1960s. The same patient went to Houston Reagan High School and played baseball there under a legendary Houston high school coach. Former Houston Astros infielder Craig Reynolds was a teammate.
