Joe Lovitto

by Clayton Trapp

Joe Lovitto was a prototypically cool '70s player. He looked a lot like Stephen Tyler, the singer for Aerosmith. No less of an authority on the subject than Billy Martin wrote, in his autobiography, that Joe was a great guy to have a few drinks with. He also said that Joe could have had a great career if not for the injuries.

» Clayton Trapp is the author of the novel Snap Once and several fiction books. He struck out 16 in six inning games against Göeppingen. http://claytonandtheresa.users.btopenworld.com/Home.html
