Frank Saucier

by Cole Pierce (Houston, TX)

I remember Frank Saucier when he was with the San Antonio Missions in the Texas League in the late 40s or early 50s. He was a terrific hitter, batting well over .300, led the team in B.A., might have lead the league. He had a very wide stance and very little stride.

» Cole Pierce played baseball from sandlot and Little League thru semi-pro. He last put on the spikes at age 55 when a friend in the local Over-30 league asked him to fill in for a game.
