My recollections of Carroll Hardy are primarily as a football player. He was a single-wing tailback at the University of Colorado when I was there in the mid-1950s. He was an outstanding runner and an adequate passer. He was one of the top players in the Big Eight Conference, leading the team to successful seasons while he was playing there.
