Dave McNally, A Hero

by Kerry Judson-Chelf (Billings, MT)

Dave McNally was more than just a world class athlete -- he was a giant of a man. I knew and respected him most of my life as a strong family man, and a source of inspiration to his local community. He was the kind of well-rounded human being whose name was spoken rather reverently, because, if you knew him, you knew that the meaning of his life was reflected more in the eyes of his children than in the numbers on the scoreboard. He was a true hero.
