I remember Dana Kiecker getting the start in game 2 of the 1990 ALCS. He was 8-9 that year, which said more about the Red Sox depth than him. He pitched well: 5 2/3 innings, 6 hits and 1 run. A gutsy performance all things considered, matching up against Bob Welch. The Sox of course eventually lost. His career lasted only one more season. But I wouldn't mind being remembered for that one game.
