Russ Branyan Loves His Family

I remember visiting Russ Branyan during spring training one year when he and Sean Casey were both minor leaguers with Cleveland. I talked to Russ about the pending strike as I sat in the living room watching Sean sign baseball cards before going to Sunday nite Mass.
Russ just looked at me with the eyes you see only in little league kids and said he hoped that they don't because all he wanted to do was play baseball.
