Aaron Pointer's Life's Work

I was watching an NFL football game recently and heard the name Aaron Pointer mentioned as being the head linesman. The name rung a bell so I did a little research on the internet. It turns out that the Aaron Pointer that played for the Astros in the sixties and the Aaron Pointer that referees football games are one and the same.
