Lou Boudreau
High School Basketball Star
by J. Terry Abraham (Harvey, Illinois)

It should be noted that Lou Boudreau was also a great high school basketball player -- Thornton's Flying Clouds, as they were called then, played in the Illinois state championship for three years in a row and won the championship in 1933. He also contributed a lot to his hometown, Harvey, not the least of which having been on the Thornton Twp. High School school board for many years. He was truly a good example for the young and older in Harvey and the surrouding area.

» J. Terry Abraham, former teacher and graduate of Thornton Twp. High School. Presently an attorney in San Francisco, CA.
