Hilltop Park, 1907

HILLTOP PARK, 1907 | Hilltop Park sat on approximately the highest elevation in Manhattan. Spectators who sat in the top rows behind home plate and along the third-base line could look behind them to enjoy a great view of the Hudson River and the New Jersey Palisades. Looking toward home plate with the Hudson River in the background, this c. 1907 view was probably taken from one of the buildings on 168th Street.
