1889 | This woodcut of the New Polo Grounds, in the southern portion of Coogan's Hollow, appeared in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper shortly after the blalpark opened in July 1889. Note the steep embankment in center field. Collection of Fred Buckland.
