PETE GRAY | May 30, 1934, a federal court handed down a decision that while whiskers may be worn by all and sundry, the name of the House of David may not be appropriated. It found the other teams guilty of unfair competition from which they must cease and desist. It was a moral victory only, however. Some ten years later, Pete Gray is shown in a House of David uniform. He was never a member of any colony team.
