St. Louis Blues?

ST. LOUIS BLUES? | When Bill Veeck purchased the cellar-loving St. Louis Browns in 1951, he promptly re-signed the walking gate attraction. Incredibly, the following year, at the age of 46, Satchel Paige enjoyed one of his finest major league seasons, winning 12 games against 10 losses. His efforts earned him a nod to the American League All-Star team, achieving the honor, at the time, as baseball's oldest All-Star. (Courtesy of NoirTech Research, Inc.)
