RAY DANDRIDGE | Hall of Famer Ray "Dandy" Dandridge started his professional career with the Stars in 1933. He was one of the greatest third basemen in baseball history, black or white, and was enshrined in Cooperstwon in 1987. It was often said of the fine-fielding, bow-legged suprestar "that a train would stand a better chance of goin through Dandy's legs than a baseball." He played in the Mexican Leagues in 1940-43 and 1945-48.
