QUINCY TROUPPE | A talented catcher and powerful switch-hitter, Quincy Trouppe played for the Wolves in 1932. A lifetime .300 hitter in the Negro Leagues, Trouppe appeared in eight East-West All-Star games. In 1952, Trouppe became the first African-American catcher in the American League when he signed with the Cleveland Indians. Past his prime, he appeared in only six major league games.
