RAY BROWN | One of the best pitchers to ever play Negro League baseball was right hander Ray Brown, who was with Cumberland Posey's Wolves in 1932. Married to Posey's daughter Ethel, Brown is fifth on the lifetime list of wins with 109. He lost only 30 for a winning percentage of .762. Brown had a variety of pitches in his arsenal, but his best pitch was his curveball, which he would throw on any pitch count.
