FAIR PLAY IN THE FALL CLASSIC | New York Giants manager John McGraw shakes hands with Philadelphia Athletics slugger Harry Davis as umpire Tom Connolly looks on before the 1911 World Series. This was the long awaited rematch from 1905, when the Giants defeated the A's 4 games to 1 and every game was a shutout. McGraw had his team wear the same black uniforms as a taunt.
