The page states that Rocky Colavito was the last normally non-pitcher to be the winning pitcher in a game. This is no longer true. Brent Mayne, normally a catcher, was the winning pitcher in one game in relief for the Colorado Rockies in 2000.
| Original text: |
"The win with the Yankees, in which he hit a crucial home run, was the last win by a normally non-pitcher; since then, only Jose Oquendo, with a loss in 1988, has even had a decision."
| Action taken: |
Out-of-date Oquendo reference replaced with reference to Mayne's win.
| Revised text: |
"The win with the Yankees, in which he hit a crucial home run, was the last win by a non-pitcher until catcher Brent Mayne was the winning pitcher in relief in a game for the Colorado Rockies on August 22, 2000."
