Bug #70   found in San Diego Chicken 's player profile
URL: /ballplayers/S/San_Diego_Chicken.stm
Fixed: August 8, 2002
Reported by: James Reisdorf (sportsdude820@attbi.com)
Reported error: On the "ballplayers" page, the man in the suit is listed, incorrectly, as Ted Giannopolis. The chronology entry has the correct spelling, Giannoulas.
Original text: "The first of the wave of costumed team mascots that inundated baseball in the late 1970s, the Chicken was the brainchild of Ted Giannopolis. After cutting his ties with the Padres to pursue a nationwide audience, he had to use the name The Famous Chicken."
Action taken: Name corrected.
