Bug #342   found in Jim McKean's player profile
URL: /ballplayers/M/McKean_Jim.stm
Fixed: August 13, 2003
Reported by: Bob Ferguson (fergwho@rogers.com)
Reported error: The bio info on Jim McKean on this website contains a major error. Born in Montreal he did play football in the Canadian Football League but he WAS NOT ELECTED TO THE CFL HALL OF FAME. As author of WHO'S WHO IN CANADIAN SPORT I believe I am qualified to make this observation.
Original text: "McKean played Canadian League football with the Montreal Alouettes and was named to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame."
Action taken: Reference deleted; new text added.
Revised text: "McKean, a native of Montreal, played Canadian League football with the Montreal Alouettes (three seasons) and the Saskatchewan Roughriders (two), appearing in the 1967 Grey Cup final with the latter. He also did some junior hockey officiating, working one Memorial Cup series."
