» May 15, 1995: Ramon Martinez, Rudy Seanez, and Todd Worrell combine on a 1-hitter as the Dodgers shut out the Pirates, 4-0, to move them within two games of Colorado for the lead in the National League West.
» August 31, 2001: The Braves acquire vet Julio Franco from the Mexico City Tigers. Franco, 40, who led the Mexican League with a .437 average, has been out of the majors since 1997. In a separate deal, the Braves pick up P Rudy Seanez from the Padres for a player to be named later.
