Thursday, March 8th

IN THE NEWS: Judge Landis allows former Giants lefthanded P Rube Benton to return to the NL. Benton had admitted prior knowledge of the 1919 WS fix, but he remained in baseball, winning 22 for St. Paul (American Association).
