Yost hit .309 at Vancouver (Pacific Coast League) in 1980 to earn a promotion to
the Brewers, but was never more than a backup catcher in the ML. After four seasons
with Milwaukee he was one of two players traded to Texas for Jim Sundberg, and he
played a career-high 80 games with the Rangers in 1984, hitting .182.
