Rich Rollins, Zoilo Versalles connect off Catfish Hunter, along with successive roundtrippers by Tony Oliva, Don Mincher (off Paul Lindblad) and Harmon Killebrew (off John Wyatt) in the 7th inning to give the Twins a 9–4 victory.
