» October 11, 1993: The Phillies notch their 2nd 4-3, 10-inning victory of the NLCS and take a 3-games-to-2 lead over the Braves. Lenny Dykstra's homer off Mark Wohlers is the winning hit, while Darren Daulton also knocks a round-tripper. Exactly seven years ago, Dykstra hit a 10th inning home run to beat the Astros in the NLCS.

» October 28, 1995: In a pitcher’s duel, the Braves win Game 6 of the Series, 1-0, on a combined 1-hitter by Tom Glavine and Mark Wohlers. David Justice’s 6th-inning homer accounts for the game’s only run. In winning, the Braves become the 1st team to win World Championships representing three different cities-Boston, Milwaukee, and Atlanta. C Tony Pena’s leadoff single in the 6th is Cleveland’s only hit.

» April 14, 1996: John Smoltz loses his no-hit bid when Tony Gwynn hits a one-out fly ball in the 7th that pops out of Ryan Klesko's mitt just before he hits the fence. The hit is ruled a double. Smoltz K's 13 and allows the one hit before giving way to Mark Wohlers in the 9th as the Braves top the Padres, 4–0.

» August 10, 1996: The Rockies jump to a 7–0 lead over the Braves, then need back to back homers in the 10th to win, 9–7. Andres Galarraga, with his 2nd homer, and Vinny Castilla homer off Mark Wohlers for the victory. Galarraga now leads the National League in RBIs with 107.

» October 23, 1996: The Yankees even the Series by scoring twice in the 10th inning for an 8-6 win. Jim Leyritz ties the game in the 8th with a home run off Mark Wohlers as the Braves blow a 6-run lead. John Wetteland saves the game for Graeme Lloyd.

» June 3, 1997: In Atlanta, the Padres get a little help from the umps to top the Braves, 5–2. After viewing television tapes, the umps reverse a call and take away Keith Lockhart's a two-run homer in the 8th after Lockhart circles the bases. Lockhart then grounds out to end the inning. The Padres score three in the ninth against Mark Wohlers to win.

» May 3, 1998: After pitching to two batters yesterday, Braves closer Mark Wohlers had to leave the game and is put on the DL because of a torn muscle in his side. Coming off the DL, his control will disappear and he will split his time between Richmond (AAA) and the Braves. With Atlanta, Wohlers will walk 15 and allow 13 runs in just four 1/3 innings.

» April 16, 1999: The Braves finally give up on wild–armed pitcher Mark Wohlers and ship him to the Reds in exchange for P John Hudek.

» May 3, 1999: Reds P Mark Wohlers has another disastrous outing in a minor league rehab appearance. Wohlers walks five out of the seven batters he faces, fires four wild pitches in 1/3 IP.
