Waslewski's moment of glory came in Game Six of the 1967 World Series, when he gave
Boston five-plus solid innings (getting a no-decision because of the bullpen) as
they went on to beat the Cardinals 8-4. The rookie went 2-2 after being called up
that year; it was the only non-losing record of his career.
