A starter for the Senators, the elder Dixie Walker went 11-11 in 1910 and 8-13 in 1911 before arm problems caused his demotion to the minors. There he played the outfield, as did his brother Ernie and sons Harry and Dixie (Fred) did in the majors. (JK)
