Wagner was the ace of the Phillies' weak bullpen in his rookie 1965 season, going 7-7 with seven saves and a 3.00 ERA. His only other significant years were 1968 (4-4, 8 saves) for the Phillies and 1970 (3-1, 7 saves) for the Red Sox. (SFS)
