Valdespino saw the most action in his rookie year, the Twins' pennant season of 1965, batting .261 with career highs of 38 runs, 22 RBI, and 245 at-bats. He doubled and scored a run in Minnesota's six-run rally in Game One of the World Series as the Twins sent Don Drysdale to the showers in the third inning. (JFC)
