Known as one of the top bowlers in the ML during his time, Trowbridge had only modest
success as a pitcher. Splitting his time between occasional starts and long relief,
he was 7-5 during the Braves' championship 1957 season. The Yankees slugged him for
five runs in his only WS inning.
