Rollie Fingers, Todd's teammate in Oakland in 1975-76, once said he could not have
been regarded as the best reliever in baseball without Todd as his set-up man. Ralph
Houk accused Todd of throwing greaseballs; Todd called them "super sinkers." In '75,
his top season, he went 8-3 (2.29) with 12 saves in 58 appearances.
