» January 20, 1965: Rocky Colavito returns to Cleveland in a 3-way deal that sends outfielders Jim Landis and Mike Hershberger and P Fred Talbot from the White Sox to Kansas City; C Johnny Romano, OF Tommy Agee, and P Tommy John from Cleveland to Chicago; and C Cam Carreon from the White Sox to the Indians.

» June 10, 1966: The Yankees and Royals make a trade with New York acquiring P Fred Talbot and C Billy Bryan in exchange for pitchers Bill Stafford and Gil Blanco, and promising OF Roger Repoz.

» April 29, 1967: Yankee pitcher Fred Talbot allows two Angel hits in topping California 5–2 at the Stadium. Mickey Mantle, playing first base, hits a 2-run homer and drives in three runs for New York.

» August 29, 1967: The Red Sox tie an American League record it originally set on July 4, 1905, by playing 29 innings in a doubleheader. Boston wins the first against the Yankees 2–1, then drop the nightcap in 20 innings 4–3.
