» July 15, 1997: Visiting San Francisco scores 13 runs in the 7th inning—the most in the National League since the Dodgers scored 15 in the 1st inning against the Reds in 1952—to coast to a 16–2 win over the Padres. The Giants send 19 men to the plate in the 7th and face 80 pitches in the 52-minute inning. They score seven runs before J.T. Snow grounds out for the first out. Five Giants score two runs each, including starting pitcher Kirk Rueter (6-4). The only player not to score is Snow, who Ks with the bases loaded for the second out.

» August 7, 1999: The Braves infielders looked inept when they let an infield pop-up drop between them in the 9th inning of a 15-4 victory over the Giants. But SS Ozzie Guillen turned the miscue into an unusual foul ball. The towering pop by J.T. Snow falls on the pitcher's mound when second baseman Bret Boone called off the other infielders, then couldn't reach the ball. Guillen lets it bounce toward the third-base line. As soon as it is in foul territory, he grabs the ball, turning it into a foul. Snow then flies out.

» September 4, 2000: In the Red Sox win over the Mariners, 5-1, Carl Everett of the Sox became only the sixth major-league switch-hitter to drive in 100 runs in both leagues when he knocked in his 100th ribbie of the year. Everett drove in 108 runs for the Houston Astros last season. The other five 100-100 switches were Ted Simmons, Ken Singleton, Eddie Murray, Bobby Bonilla and J.T. Snow. Pedro Martinez is the big star, striking out 11 in eight innings to go 7–0 over the M's. Jamie Moyer loses his 6th in a row, though not his fault as a routine fly ball by Jose Offerman to Mike Cameron becomes a 3-run triple when the center fielder stumbles. Prior to the game, Boston retires Hall of Fame C Carlton Fisk's uniform No. 27.

» October 5, 2000: The Mets even their series with the Giants at one game apiece by winning a 10-inning thriller, 5-4. Jay Payton's single drives home the winning run in the top of the 10th after J.T. Snow's pinch-hit 3-run home run ties the game in the bottom of the 9th. Edgardo Alfonzo hit a 2-run homer for NY in the top half of the frame. Al Leiter pitches 8+ innings for the Mets. Armando Benitez gives up the tying homer, but gets the win in relief.

» June 7, 2001: The Padres pound Russ Ortiz (7-4) and outslug the Giants, 10–7, to snap their 8-game losing streak. Cesar Crespo hits his 1st ML homer for the Pads, while his brother Felipe, playing 1B for the Giants in J.T. Snow's absence, hits a pair. It was the 9th time that brothers on opposing teams had both homered in the same game. The last time was when Bret and Aaron Boone did it last year. Bobby Bonds hits #32, his 13th homer in 18 games. Mike Darr has four hits and four RBIs for SD.

» October 19, 2002: The Giants take the World Series opener with a 4–3 win over the Angels. Barry Bonds, Reggie Sanders, and J.T. Snow homer for SF as Jason Schmidt gets the win. Troy Glaus hits a pair of round–trippers for Anaheim.
