Books and articles about Ken Smith

A longtime secretary-treasurer of the BBWAA, Smith began covering the game for the New York Graphic in 1925. Two years later he switched to the Mirror and covered the Giants for 30 years until the team moved to San Francisco. He was director of the Hall of Fame from 1963 to 1975, when he became public relations director. Smith was posthumously awarded the J.G. Taylor Spink Award in 1983. (NLM)
