At Dodger Stadium, LA brings reliever Larry Sherry in to pitch in the 8th inning with brother Norm Sherry behind the plate. Larry goes 2/3's of an inning and is lifted, and the Dodgers top the Mets 5–4 in 13 innings. The Sherrys are the first brother battery since the Baileys started for the Reds in 1959.
