» May 13, 1994: OF Tim Salmon leads the Angels to an 11-1 win over the Mariners with five hits, including two home runs. Salmon drive home five runs while scoring four himself. The five safeties give him 13 hits in his last 15 at bats, tying the American League mark for most hits in three games set by Joe Cronin in 1933 and tied by Walt Dropo in 1952.

» April 29, 1997: At Boston, CF Shane Mack is the only outfielder not to throw out a runner. All three California outfielders -- Tim Salmon, Garret Anderson and Orlando Palmeiro -- do it, while Red Sox starting LF Wil Cordero and Troy O'Leary, who replaced Rudy Pemberton in RF, register one. The Angels win the contest by a score of 5–4. Tomorrow, Anderson and Cordero will throw out runners again.

» July 6, 1997: At Anaheim, Chuck Finley allows four hits and strikes out 13 to lead the Angels to an 8–0 shut out over the Mariners. Dave Hollins fourth inning grand slam is the big blow, while Darin Erstad also homers, the first by a lefty off Jeff Fassero (8-5) in over three years. Tim Salmon also hits a solo homer in the third, his third in three games. Fassero left the game earlier in the 3rd inning after spraining his right ankle fielding Craig Grebeck's bunt single.

» April 21, 2000: The Angels down the Devil Rays, 9-6. Mo Vaughn and Tim Salmon hit back-to-back homers for Anaheim in the 4th inning, then repeat the feat in the 9th. Troy Glaus also homers in those same two innings, marking the 1st time in major league history that three players homer in the same inning twice in the same game. The three players with two home runs in the game ties another ML record.

» May 28, 2000: The Angels defeat the Royals, 8-4, smashing four home runs in a 6-run 5th inning. Darin Erstad hit the 1st, then one out later, Mo Vaughn, Tim Salmon, and Garret Anderson followed with consecutive blasts.

» August 27, 2000: The Angels edge the Indians, 10-9 as OF Tim Salmon hits his 30th home run of the year in the 5th inning. Anaheim become the first team in AL history to have four players (Troy Glaus, Mo Vaughn, Garret Anderson, Salmon) reach the 30-homer mark in a single season. The Blue Jays are close with two hitters over 30 and two at 28. It's been done seven times in the NL.

» July 19, 2002: Anaheim OF Tim Salmon strokes five hits in the Angels 15–3 win over the Mariners. He drives home five runs in the contest, including three on his 15th home run of the year. The Angels score eight runs in the 6th inning to break open the game.

» October 2, 2002: The Angels even their series with the Yankees at one game apiece by coming from behind to take an 8–6 decision. Anaheim gets home runs from Tim Salmon, Garret Anderson, Troy Glaus, and Scott Spiezio while Alfonso Soriano and Derek Jeter stroke round–trippers for NY. Francisco Rodriguez gets his 1st ML win in relief.

» October 4, 2002: The Yankees blow a 6–1 lead as the Angels bounce back for a 9–6 victory and a two games to one lead in their division series. Tim Salmon and Adam Kennedy homer for Anaheim and Francisco Rodriguez again gets the win in relief.

» October 20, 2002: The Angels even the Series with an 11–10 win over the Giants. Tim Salmon goes 4–4 with two homers and four RBIs for Anaheim. Reggie Sanders, David Bell, Jeff Kent, and Barry Bonds connect for SF. Postseason sensation Francisco Rodriguez gets the win in relief.
