The Rockies make their first trade a good one, sending OF Kevin Reimer to the Brewers for OF Dante Bichette. Bichette hit .287 for Milwaukee, but just .246 in the 2nd half of the year.
»August 24, 1993:
In the battle of the division tail enders, Milwaukee OF Kevin Reimer is 6-for-6 and scores four runs in the Brewers' 7–6, 12 inning win over Oakland in the nitecap of 2. The Brew Crew collects 21 hits. They have 13 hits in the opener, a 9–2 win in which Reimer is 1-for-2. Milwaukee trails 2–1 until the 7th.
