FROM THE BASEBALL CHRONOLOGY
» August 27, 1990: Boston's Ellis Burks homers twice in an 8-run 4th inning of a 12–4 pasting of Cleveland. It is only the 2nd time a Sox hitter has homered twice in an inning (Bill Regan, June 16, 1928). Burks has five RBIs to back Mike Boddicker's win. Boddicker holds the Tribe scoreless through six frames.
