Nossek was a backup outfielder and pinch hitter who hit .218 in 87 games for the 1965 AL champion Twins. Traded to the A's in 1966, he had by far his best year, batting .261 with 27 RBI in 230 at-bats while going 8-for-17 in the pinch. He declined to .205 in 1967 and was used sparingly thereafter. (SFS)
