Moseley made the majors at the age of 28 and went 9-5. Jumping to the Federal League
in 1914, he went 18-18 and 16-16 for the Indianapolis-Newark franchise, leading the
league in ERA (just ahead of Hall of Famers Eddie Plank and Three Finger Brown) in
1915 and tying for fifth in strikeouts. He failed to continue his success with Cincinnati
in
1916, going 7-10 with a 3.89 ERA to close out his ML career.
