Books and articles about Walt Moryn

Moryn had his best seasons for the Cubs, knocking in 88 runs in 1957 and hitting 26 home runs in 1958. That season he had three homers in one game (5/30/58) against the Dodgers. Moryn was never a gazelle in the field, but his outstanding shoestring catch with two outs in the ninth saved Don Cardwell's no-hitter against the Cardinals in 1960. (BC)
