Books and articles about Bob Molinaro

Molinaro was a speedy extra outfielder and lefthanded-hitting DH. Of his last 142 at-bats, 122 came as a pinch hitter; his 9-for-35 off the bench for the 1981 White Sox led the AL, and he pinch hit a NL-high 67 times for the Cubs and Phillies in 1982. He considered leaving pro ball after spending the 1975 off-season dealing blackjack in Las Vegas. (JCA)
