» February 6, 1998: The Minnesota Twins trade All–Star 2B Chuck Knoblauch to the Yankees for minor leaguers P Eric Milton, P Danny Mota, OF Brian Buchanan, SS Cristian Guzman, and $3 million.

» September 11, 1999: The Twins defeat the Angels, 7-0, as Eric Milton hurls the 3rd no-hitter of the season. The young lefthander fans 13 and allows just two walks in his masterpiece. There are just 11,222 fans to see the game, the third smallest crowd to witness a no-hitter in the majors since 1986. The 11:05 a.m. start time is to accommodate a University of Minnesota football game at the Metrodome and the Twins offer free admission to anyone attending the game in their pajamas.

» April 15, 2001: Eric Milton strikes out 10, including the first four hitters on called 3rd strikes, in seven innings. The surprising Twins edge the visiting White Sox, 4–3, to complete a 3-game sweep. Corey Koskie is 4-for-4 for the Twins.

» May 1, 2001: Mike Mussina 3-hits the Twins to win, 4–0, for the Yankees. David Justice has a solo home run in the 6th off Eric Milton, the losing pitcher, and Jorge Posada adds ribbie singles in the 7th and 9th.

» October 5, 2002: The Twins even their series with the A's behind Eric Milton, winning by a score of 11–2. Doug Mientkiewicz homers for Minnesota and Miguel Tejada for Oakland.
