Hal McKain
1906-1970

RHP 1927, 29-32 Indians, White Sox

Hal McKain's Teammates

IPW-LERA
Career 38118-234.93

When the Indians tried to protect Hal McKain from the free agent draft by temporarily promoting him to the major league roster, Commissioner Landis turned McKain loose. McKain had won 20 games in the Three-I League in 1928, and the White Sox signed him the next spring. But he wrenched his back in 1930, developed arm problems, and lost a league-high six games in relief in 1931. (RL)
