» July 4, 1997: Giants' P Shawn Estes holds the Rockies to one hit in eight 2/3 innings as SF shuts out Colorado, 4-0. Quinton McCracken's single is Colorado's only hit as Estes fans 11 and walks only 2. Rod Beck comes in to record the last out.

» June 3, 1999: Tampa Bay OF Quinton McCracken undergoes surgery for a torn ACL in his right knee and will be out the rest of the season. McCracken caught his cleats in the wall trying to catch what turned out to be a home run by Juan Gonzalez.

» December 23, 2000: The Brewers sign free agent OF Jeffrey Hammonds to a 3-year contract. The Giants sign OF Eric Davis to a contract. The Cardinals sign free agent OF Quinton McCracken to a contract.
