When Lodigiani played second base at San Francisco's Lowell Junior High, his double play partner was Joe DiMaggio. He missed 1943-45 in military service, and an elbow injury in 1946 hindered his comeback. He had a long career in the Pacific Coast League and as a White Sox scout. (NLM)
