Winston Llenas
1943-Angels 300 g, 230, 3 hr, 61 rbi
Llenas interrupted his career as one of the Mexican League's greatest third basemen
to spend five seasons with the Angels, primarily as a pinch hitter. In 1973, he led
the AL in pinch hit at-bats (56) and hits (16), with a .269 batting average
overall.
A top slugger in the Mexican League before his ML stint, he returned there in 1977
for seven more seasons, including three .300 years.
