Littlefield was dealt 10 times during his nine-year career, in trades involving 38 other players. He lasted longest with the Pirates - almost two years - winning a career-high 10 games in 1954. Pittsburgh then stole Bill Virdon from the Cardinals for Littlefield and Bobby Del Greco in a May 1956 trade. The Giants traded him to the Dodgers for Jackie Robinson in December 1956, but the deal was voided when Robinson retired. (ME)
