Landrum's surprising 10th-inning home run off Britt Burns in Game Four of the 1983 LCS broke up a scoreless tie and clinched the series for the Orioles. A utility player always in top physical condition, Tito batted .391 and .333 as a pinch hitter in 1984-85. With the 1985 Cardinals he batted .429 in the LCS and .360 in the WS, with a HR in Game Four. (FO)

Philadelphia gets home runs from Gary Matthews and Sixto Lezcano in another 7–2 victory, while Baltimore's Tito Landrum hits a solo home run in the top of the 10th inning to break a scoreless tie and spark the Orioles to a 3–0 win.
